I would like to have some information on the logistics part of a call centre. I understand that its a major task for the managers to allocate routes to the employees, at the same time minimise on the transportation cost and also reduce the travel time.
Is there any software solution which handles the pick-up vehicle routing problem?
you don’t have to think at software level regarding logistic.
much is done practically with positive results.
it covers travel,internal favors for employee etc.
I appreciate you thinking at high level but till now no one is using any such software as per my knowledge.
