Is there 2 RTP session per SIP call?

    Are there two RTP session involved in a SIP call, one for each way and requiring 84kbps bandwidth each?

    Yes there are 2RTP session for voip calls. One for outbound and one for inbound. The rate depends on the codec/compression you are using.

    Hi,
    How can I calculate the number of session? If I want to make 120call/per-cecond and talk time is 5 minutes, is that equal 120*300= 36000 session?
