If I get a a broadband connection by Satelitte, would the time lag in voIP be also noticed equally by the other pc I am speaking to? Assuming the other person has a normal broadband connection, say download 1024 kb/s and upload 128 kb/s at both pc’s? Thank you.
well, first if you are PC to PC, the quality probably won’t be that great, so the 500ms (250 up and 250 down) probably won’t be noticable. Of course if there is further delay in your network at either end, it will be compounded by the satellite delay.
