hi guys, im using asm200 and do you how to reduce time after I dialled the last number? We have some of clients calling from pstn and when the operator ask for the extension number and say the extension number is 202, the client will have to wait for about 5 – 8 seconds after the call will be connected. I know some of us may think that the call is not connected if they wait that long.

One of the solution is to add a “#” after the last number is inputed so that the call will be connected.but the problem lies within the client if they dont know that there is a “#” after the last number so that their call will be connected and they dont have to wait that long.

    hope you guys can help.

    Jason,

There really is no other way. The delay is not the quintum’s problem, it is really the PSTN. If you were using the quintum for calling card with ivr prompts, the the quintum would say to hit # after dialing.
