    Hi,
I have DX-2060 configured for outbound calls,The problems that when can make calls to busy number a received a cause=16 (Normal Clearing)
instead i must receive the cause=17 which is declared in the quintum standard q931 disconnect cause,
i’m asking if there is an option in the quintum that fix this problem.

    Armani,

If you are using ISDN, then the disconnect code would come from the ISDN provider, not direct from quintum. Quintum would simply pass the code through.

If it is not ISDN, then it depends on the setup and quintum may not send 17 back.

    thank you Mike,

    my architecture is like this:

    GK—(ip)–>Quintum–(E1)–>pbx

i receive cause=17 from the GK for a busy number, but i find cause=16 in the quintum log,
i don’t understand how can the quintum translate the cause from 17 to 16

    Armani,

I do not believe the quintum is translating the number. If it is receiving 16 from PBX, then it would pass this through.

I would need to review logs and config of quintum to check everything.
