Hi there , we have a Quintum CMS with E1’s connected to it. These E1’s have banks of DDI associated with them. We also have analog tenors t3rminating calls to this CMS. Is there a way to associate a DDI to one of these analog tenors , i.e if someone rings the specific DDI , it will ring the port of the analog tenor its configured to go to , is this possible ? Thanks in advance to anyone who can help.

If the CMS could handle DID, you could do it.
The analog tenors could have one PBXTG on each PBX port, asociated with a diferent phone number.
The analog tenor part is the easy one.
I am not sure if the CMS could get a DID from the E1,and send those numbers forward to the VOIP side.
It will child play on a Cisco, using dial peers.
    Best regards.

    Hi,

yes, this is possible with ISDN Q.931 and R2, where the called (access number) is transmitted to the CMS.

As you may see in the Q.931 (ISDN) specifications, the originating switch sends the called party number (which number is called) along with the calling party number. This is useful for the receiving switch, as it may serve multiple phone numbers.
