I have been using VoIP for a couple of years and things are developing super well.
Note I am a small business who makes lots of international calls.
OK, my problem is that I have the superb 7960 but I miss the web access and config that I had from a previous phone!
Cisco´s IP phone should, in theory, be able to be configured to do just that.
Anyone clever enough to hold my hand through the config?
Thanks
D
Andrew, MOH is not part of the Cisco 7960 unless you are part of a corporate environment using call manager.
If not you need to ensure your VoIP service provider has a MOH server.
Have a search of the internet, there are some independent MOH providers. You then need to point the Cisco to that server.
My personal situation is that I am considering changing the Cisco as it is a super phone but not really designed for a single point user.
There are more friendly phones that allow the individual to change configs
Hi Andrew,
I am not sure if call manager has MOH option, I think it does.
Alternatively, you need to buy a media server or point the phone to one of the public MOH servers.
Good luck
Dave
