Hi all. Anyway for us to keep quintum log in somewhere and view later? As currently I only able to view log on live. And it is hard to look at the screen when there is alot of concurent call. Besides, sometime have problem to trace back issue that happen in the past.

    Wei, (Hi)

Check with the software you use for telnet. Most have a way to capture or start a log to capture all the text that appears on the screen.

when you log to the quintum and before doing anything else write this:
    ev 0
    ev + ch cas
    ev c
    q

and wait, this will allow you to see all logs of everything that is coming to your system, if you are trying to use syslog you have to configure a syslog server under config– sys

Get Procomm Plus. It does have a capture feature that allows to make a file on your computer and store the whole file on it.
We use it for getting CDR ‘s out of PBX equipment that send the data everytime that there is a call.
