We’re having a lot of echo problems with our SIP phones. We’re using Grandstream ATA’s and also standalone SIP phones. We also have some Taiwanese made phones here. All of them are producing some sort of echo.
We’re using Voicemaster gateways, could it be something to do with phones or the server itself that is producing these problems?
If it is the phones, can anyone recommend a decent phone they are successfully using with a Voicemaster gateway?
The echo is probably occurring on the non-ip side of the VoIP gateways you are using or connecting to. In theory the gateway should have an echo canceller that removes this however this may be turned off or there may be some issue that affects it.
