    Anyone comfortable with Syslog server for Tenor boxes?

    I’m running KIWI to collect syslog messages. It works fine with cisco boxes but couldn’t make it collecting messages from quintum boxes so far. I believe syslog config in the tenor is fine as long as I got a good hand with tenor. Does anyone know if I should modify any parameter in the syslog server for tenor?

    you have to set the syslog ip on the SYS *Tree* on the quintum and that should do it, quintum will report any informational progress to the syslog.

    Hi Saul,
    My tenor units are configured correctly i think. Configured sys log server IP with default port and default syslog facility. Still I don’t see any activity in the server. I even tried different facility setting and didn’t help.
    Any further comment?
