Can all these 6 billing systems presented bellow
    (a) handle 500 simultaneous calls?
    (b) provide a billing for prepaid phone, recurrent phone, dialup customers
    (c) provide a billing for carriers
    (d) web access by customer to its account
    (e) charging the account via credit card (by customer)

You should definitely check PortaBilling (www.portaone.com). It is even more advanced than systems you listed below, has a lot of nice features and suites all the requirements you specified

who knows if a centralized billing solution is available for different locations? assume there are voice gateways installed in different countries, but a centrilized billing for prepaid, postpaid, phone cards and carrier customers is required. someone knows if such a solution exists?

    Thanks

To em: why not? You can collect data from GWs around the world to the central billing using RADIUS. If these GWs have enough bandwidth to carry the VoIP traffic, some small UDP packets with RADIUS data should be transferred without any problem…

Try aa-link.com or D-tec, they both provide hosted solutions and we are happy with both in different part of our network.

Honza, if you aware, do they currently provide centralized solution to any of their costumers? Or this one is gonna be the first project?
    thanks

To kooper: I am not sure if I understand you. If you buy a billing solution, this is normal that you put it on your VoIP network and collect data from gateways from around the world (this is what we are using). Or do you mean the hosted billing solution? I know there are people who are doing this, and it is really to accomplish (you can have unlimited number of virtual environments on your installation) – but we are using our own billing instance. Contact them, they probably have some hosted billing offer.

Superonline is the largest ISP in Turkey (over 1M customers), now we started also VoIP services.

We purchased Alepo few months ago and we are happy.
It cost less then Mind-CTI and is better, IMO, for classic VoIP. I never looked at the other products you listed.
It serves 40 E1 now and we will grow to 100 E1 soon.
The product does what Alepo said it would. I don’t know much about the support, we used them for initial setup and never needed to call them since.

Billing is indeed an issue to us, we looked into quite a few. It seems that most do the job of initial simple voice set up for prepaid and postpaid, yet at the end of the day, when investigating operators with 1000 ports and more, as well as vendors like Cisco, Alcatel, Nortel, Vocaltec, Veraz, Netcentrex and many others they all claim that for alternative cariers high-end solutions like Portal and MIND CTI actually do the job at the end of the day..

I am familiar with EyeBill. the product is very good and stable. It has almost anything that you need for VoIp business. They are very aggresive and you can find support from them for anything. I am very happy with them.
