Can somebody please tell me if there is any clear difference between H.323 and SIP based VoIP products?

I’m more interested in the usage aspect.

    Thanks in advance,

    WOW
That question is like going to a football game and ask what is the purpose of the ball in the middle of the field.
    OK: H323 in one protocol
    SIP is another protocol

SIP is a more stable protocol and newer, H323 is older and mostly accepted by any wholesale VOIP carrier, SIP mostly retail applications users that need to run behind NAT and things like that.
