    Hello All,

Am not using any cdr software currently.

I telnet into the A800 using WinXP as follows:

Telnet xxx.xxx.x.xxx and it goes to a screen CONEXANT SYSTEMS INC. ACCESS RUNNER ADSL CONSOLE PORT 3.21

It requests a password…I type the pc password…it rejects…I type the Tenor password….it rejects

    Any one can help?

    Thanks

That is not the A800. You are ,most likely, talking to the ADSLrouter/modem.

When you talk to the A800, the telnet screen will look like this:

Welcome to Tenor Multipath Switch Telnet Server
    Serial #: A002-xxxxxC | Name: xxxxxxxxxl01 | Type: A400 | UTC: Unknown
    Connected from IpAddr/Port# 67.xxx.xxx.xx3/3807 to Port# 23

    Quintum:xxxxxxxx101> Password:

If you get a null modem cable, you could do the same from the console port.

From a COM port on your PC or laptop, using a null modem cable. setup it for 9600, no parity, one stop and one start bit.

    Hello,
The default baud rate for the console port of the quintum is 38400. 8N1, no flow control for the rest of the settings.
