Tenor is in Bypass Mode

    Tenor configured for prepaid calling card not detecting the Dial-tone. Alarm showing “Tenor is in Bypass Mode.”

    What cud have gone wrong??

    pls suggest ….

    You haven put the unit online yet from the login prompt type config

    but this TENOR is on production and suddently it is going to bypass mode.

    What cud be the problem?

    If the tenor is made to reset to many times in a given period (whatever you have set in your configuration)other than a normal reset, the tenor will put itself in bypass mode

    Why i am getting folowing mesg in active alarms.
    “Border Element connection lost”

    I have configured TENOR to use external GK and configured the TENOR ip itself as BE ip.

    is it ok?

    the be issue is interesing send me your config to dwray@blue-lava.co.uk
    the tenor resetting by itself is due a recent hack that nasty people use which is fixable by using the latest firmware i can send you this if you e-mail me on dwray@blue-lava.co.uk

    You have to make sure the latest system software is loaded (p4-2-20-27) and then make sure under ‘config unit 1’ time -> 60 and number -> 10. That should stop the tenor getting into bypass mode.
