IVR is for free all the way. The only thing that you do is download the audio files from Quintum place them in a server or PC, install TFTP software on that computer (free download from many sites) and point the quintum to the file on the computer or server.

That will give you the prompt and the audio IVR files.’

After that you need the billing system.
Cheapest solution will be a hosted solution, something like a $100 dollars a month for a block of 100.000 minutes worth of billing.

If you buy your own system, you may be looking at a half decent machine to install it ($500 or more),windows, database and hen the billing system itself.

Cheapest working solution for around $2k, up to $100 k if you want to spend that kind of money.

Warning!!!!!! A lot of crooks out there selling cracked copies of somebody else systems, or just taking your money and running .

More dangerous to your pocket that one of those “Las Vegas” casino.

Or more dangerous than a pirahna on your toilet.

    Take your pick!!!

From what my rep tells me QTelNet now has a soft switch that includes the pre-paid calling card application and IVR and 24 ports for free. I guess there isnt any support, but you can buy it if needed.

I will be concerned about free lunches and billing systems.

But sounds interesting. It is just software????

Must be a catch, like you need to give them all your minutes at their rates or something like that.

The IVR files needed for the A800 could be downloaded for free from Quintum site.
It is a small file, only 800 kb for most languages.
The quintum could handle only one language, unless you do a software upgrade.

About billing: The best ,of the shelf package that works, that i found so far s,sells for 100 dollars a month.

Is a hosted service, you only point the quintum to a server farm.

The acccess to your accounts is via web.

Contract is month to month, lo long time comitement

No, I am not the rep. Only a user.

    Good luck!!!!

    Use VOICEMASTER
I may not call it a cheap equipment but Cost Effective.
you can find it from 25 to 35 depends on the modules you add, I have one in Canada http://www.raniphone.com and one in Miami, http://www.procomm100.net both work perfect.

Or you can get for 23K USD PortaBilling100 – complete VoIP billing package, with all of the possible modules (and no need to pay for the extra modules in future!), with the unlimited ASP functionality, with 6 month support included in the price…
