    Hi all

I want to send a call to a Gateway which is not registered in my gatekeeper(GK-1).
I set my gatekeeper as follows :

    zone local gk-1 testvoip.com
    alias static 192.168.11.70 1720 gkid gk-1 gateway voip ras 192.168.11.70 1719
    gw-type-prefix 2121* gw ipaddr 192.168.11.70 1720

    but the call is rejected

Does anybody have any idea what’s wrong?

    Thanks

Is there not an option to set your gatekeeper to allow unregistered endpoints?

    Hi Tech guy

I read a document in Cisco Site that we cand sent call to an unregistered gateway by this command “”alias static””. but I couldn’t loacte any sample config.
do you have any idea what wrong steps I had ?

    thanks

I’m sorry, I’m not familiar with the Cisco Gatekeeper configuration so I am unable to help you there.
