What is the minimum bandwidth requirement for a Quintum D3000 if all 30 lines are being utilized simultaneously.

Depends. If you send all the calls to the same destination and use the “packet saver” option ( it is a software option that you could buy), the bandwith used will be something like 30% less.
Calculate a minimun of 10-12 kb of bandwith per active channel.
I will not feed it less than 512 kb, that way you have a “safety margin” when your provider is congested.
If bandwith is a premiun at your location, consult about the packet saver option with Quintum.

What if Packet Saver was employed, does that mean minimum bandwidth requirement would be 512kb less 30%

Packet saver is great. But, both parties(sending and receiving) must use quintum for Packet saver to work.

H-Man. If you wanted to go with the minimun, you could make it with around 360 kb. With the packet saver, you could go 30 % less. That is if your provider is rock solid. There are not too many providers like that.
The exception will be if you have leased sat. bandwith. Some places that is the only option, but is very expensive.
Do not confuse leased sat. with broadband sat. like direcway.
And Joel is right. You must have Quintum and packet saver on both ends for it to work.

the technical doc’s from quintum talk the real safety percentage you win with packet saver activated on all the devices what integer your network is between 40 to 50%. more simultaneusly calls more safe on your bandwith.
there is important salvations to that… like jitter, delay, latency of the WAN or ISP (Internet service Provider) as well QoS on your LAN.
another important thing is the voice codec you’ll be using, as well the type of comm’s. you know quintum’s devices work fine with Fax (Data) and Voice Comm’s.
i could give you more exaclty information about the bandwith you need using quintum.
    regards.
