    Hi,

I am just wondering if the following is possible in Viop or not. Can’t seem to find any info on this.

    PSTN—GATEWAY—GATEWAY—GATEWAY—PSTN

    Leg 1 PSTN in,
    Leg 2 IP out,
    Leg 3 IP in,
    Leg 4 IP out,
    Leg 5 IP in,
    Leg 6 PSTN out

If possible how(any special equipment/software)? If not possible why not?

Depends on the mfr, and you are putting more latency on the system with the extra hops. Why not just go IP all the way to the last gateway then hop off?

What if I don’t own the 3rd gateway but I want to resell the service?

When you say depends on the mfr, which mfr doees have this feature?

You really don’t want to do this as there will be too many double compressions and reason for this is the need to track the CDR’s for billing.

HOWEVER, instead of a gateway in the middle, you place a Call Relay unit which is a IP-IP call traffic unit, improves the call quality and you can still do billing.
