    Hi,

I’m currently researching for a Masters at the University of Limerick in Ireland. My masters involves the evaluation of header compression schemes used in VoIP.

In order to evaluate CRTP and ROHC i have devised an experiment. I will use Netmeeting to generate voice frames, then i want to use a header compression scheme over a simulated wireless link. I will use a sniffer tool to capture the packets that travel between the comp/decomp. The problem is that i do not now have time to write an implementation of the two header compression schemes myself.

Does anyone know where i could get a free/shareware implentation of both of these header compression schemes for academic use only,

any help would be greatly appreciated,

    Thanks,

    Joe

To the best of my knowledge, there are only a few commercial implementations of ROHC
(articom and effnet), with no free implementation around.

    YMMV.
