My lecturer gave me project on how to measure Qos of VoIP. And I meet difficulties on selecting the best tool. Can sombeody help me? What i need is a guidance to make software for VoIP testing, especially for its QoS. thx
Both NetIQ and Prognosis have point to point QoS software based tools that will give you an MOS score.
Also, if you have Cisco routers that are SAA capable, you can setup a point to point QoS probe to periodically check for
G.711 and G.729 simulated calls.
