Does anyone know if it is possible to customise the displays on Cisco 7905G IP Phones ? If possible, we would like to replace the Cisco logo with our company logo.

Not sure if you can on the 7905G, but I know you can on The 7960 and 7940.

Can you point me in the direction of any instructions on how to do this ?

    Hi Andy
Ideally what you would want to do is stick up an XML page on one of your call managers. Your IP phones (I know the 7940 and 7960’s are capable of this), then need to point to this XML. So if you goto config options on the phone. Select (3)for network config, and then select IDLE URL destination (35), you can add this to your phone. If you have many phones and TFTP server you can set this here.

Cisco Press has a book on how to do this. Here’s it’s ISBN number: 1-58705-060-9.

    It’s pretty easy to understand.

Also Cisco’s CTE-1450 device allows you to port standard HTML to an IP Phone.

Also This product is good at making logos for the phones in addition to providing a bulletin board type of service for the phones.
