I WANT TO CONNECT BETWEEN VOCALTEC TO CLARENT OR VOCALTEC TO OTHER G/W.

I HAVE CLARENT AND OTHER G/W[BRIDGETEC/THIS IS DIGITAL G/W AND
CHOOSR H.323 VERSION2]

IF WE TEST, CAN NOT CONNECT, AND RECEIVE MESSAGE ‘UNASSIGNED NUMBER’

HOW CAN I CONNECT ?

PLS HELP ME.

To connect H323 gateways to Clarent gateways you need Clarent GK software, but I assume you have that in place if you are getting unassigned number. I would enable some trace logging and look in the log files to see what number you are dialling….

I beleive Clarent and Vocaltec Gatekeepers use some proprietary signaling to communicate with their GWs. there is a company named Nextone, which offers a software solution on interconnecting these proprietary vendors with other GWs such as Cisco’s. check them out at http://www.nextone.com, or send me ane email, and i can hook you up.
