My Requirement of application is to receive a PSTN line call, forward the call to an IP (using H.323) and at the receiving end IP incoming call dials out to a land line. In India telephone lines are half-duplex. Is it possible to develop such an application? if so any suggessions.

What do u mean by Half Duplex.???

Telephone lines are same around the world.

The kind of application you are asking is nothing special and can be implemented by any carrier grade solutions vendor such as as Cisco or clarent

Are indian phone lines really half duplex? This implies you would have to push a button to talk, like a CB radio…
