I have a question regarding VoIp bandwidth calculation.I have seen and read books where if you use a g729 codec the bandwidth required is 24kbps without rtp compression, but i saw on one of website recently that when calculation bandwith for VoIP you should consider two RTP flows and hence double the Bandwith requirement so for g729 call it will be 48kbps.
could you please tell me which is the best way.To me it makes sense to consider two RTP flows considering two parties speaking at the samme time,
any help will be appreciated,
