    SMS is Non Circuit Related Service.
    Only processed through C7 Signalling Between GSM Nodes.

    Route to SMS-IWMSC will be Used for this they uses a special DEVICE TYPE = MSMO.

    Check in your ERICSSON Manuals.

    Print this Command.

    EXROP:DETY=MSMO;

    In the Printout there will be a BO=XX.

    ANBSP:B=XX;

    In this Origin only Barring is Dine if needed and charging case will be attached.

    Thats it.

    hi, Jack

    yes, i got the route which DETY=MSMO, and the route is with BO=93, but in B-table, analysis just got D&CC, then where will Exchange transfer SMS? how does he know? even he don’t SP of destination.

    one more question,
    in route table, there are
    DETY=GSMS MIS3=1 BO=91
    DETY=IWSMS MIS3=1 BO=92
    DETY=MSMO MIS3=1 BO=93
    DETY=MSMT MIS3=1 BO=94

    i think
    MSMO is for a SMS Originated
    MSMT is for a SMS Terminated
    GSMS is for What?
    IWSMS is for What?

    thank you very much, would you like tell me the interwork of relative blocks?

    It seems you are working in R10 Release and AXE810 Node.

    AM I correct ?

    In R10 They divided the SMS-Legs further for Traffic Calculation and Charging Purpose.Read it in ALEX.

    MSMO is for MS to SMS-IWMSC( MSC).
    MSMT is for SMS-GMSC to MS.
    GSMS is for SC to SMS-GMSC
    IWSMS is for SMS-IWMSC to SC.

    Yes the difference is :-

    GSMS is for SC to SMS-GMSC
    IWSMS is for SMS-IWMSC to SC.

    I read abt These two in R10 Delta.
    So I got you.

    Is it AXE810+APG40 ?

    or AXE810+IOG20 ?

    hi, Jack

    you are so clever, ^_^. there are AXE10+IOG20, AXE810+APG40 two kinds in out country.

    i have another question. you know, in B-table, the result will got CC&D, if i don’t need CC&D, can i remove all data in BO=91&&94?

    DETY=GSMS MIS3=1 BO=91
    DETY=IWSMS MIS3=1 BO=92
    DETY=MSMO MIS3=1 BO=93
    DETY=MSMT MIS3=1 BO=94

    Can i make friend with you? i think you are a Ericsson Expert, if i have other questions, can i ask you?

    thank you very much!

    Dear Friends,
    Would like to ask you what means MIS3=1 parameters.
    Please would you tell me what is exactly SMS routing from roaming subscriber? When I received my bill I saw as destination number our SMSC.
    Thanks

    hi, iliana

    MIS3=1 means Charging is performed
    MIS3=0 means Charging is not performed

    Hi Jinhua,

    Yes you can Remove D and CC.But better keep it.Anyway you will be doing the Billing in Post Processing methode…where you can filter out iunstead of stopping generation of SMS-CDR.

    Roaming susbcriber SMS will be sent to His HPLMN SMS-SC Server.

    So we can say Routing will be his SMS-SC Number.

    Hi,
    The destination MSC-address is found in response to SRI-SM message (Send Routing Info for Short Message).
