    Hello,

By any chance GSM ( using MSC) can interact to PSTN using GR303 or V5.2. I know it uses SS7, are there any MSC which support GR303 or V5.2 to interface to PSTN?.

I remember Reliance CDMA using V5.2 to connect to PSTN. Can any one conform the same.

    -Thanks

    Senthil,
V5.2 is a protocol used on “Access network”, it is mainly used between DLC and Class-5 (SSP).

actually, you can find details of V5 in ITU rec-s. v5 allows to conn. pstn and isdn subscribers(pri and bri) to local exch. through access netw – accord. to spec. v5 equipm. is called access network. also you can rec.-transmit low band data and route this one.
