Hi Guys,

Could anyone help with problems I’m having with idle channel interference. I’m only getting it on two TRXs of a certain BTS. I’m not using DTX or power control in either direction. Could it be due to the frequency assignment of the affected TRXs? The interference does not seem to correlate to traffic patterns, ie. the alarm instances are spread throughout the day. This BTS takes the heaviest load and radiates through an omni. We don’t use LNAs. These are Interwave Tubomax (25 watt) radios. What do you think?

Is the interference in the uplink? could be in your combiner.
