    Hi all:
I’d like to know how does the IDP ( specially bearer capabilites) is built in capv2 from a SIP invite message.

Is there any standar about mapping codecs?

    Hi Alma,

3GPP IM-SSF will be required to interwork CAMEL services with a 3GPP IMS Network.

    Flow will be:-

    S-CSCF —- IM-SSF —- gsmSCF (CAMEL node)

IM-SSF which also acts like gsmSSF needs to interact with gsmSCF for the processing of CAMEL related calls. This interface used by IM-SSF to send the request for instructions to the gsmSCF. Via this interface gsmSCF controls the IM session in a certain
IM-SSF. This interface is based on CAP – CAMEL Application Part (e.g. CAP V2).

IM-SSF will have a “parser” component that can take SIP messages and parameters and map
to the ISC interface (IM-SSF – gsmSCF).

3GPP 23.218 IP Multimedia Subsystem (IMS)

    3GPP 23.228 IMS Session Handling
