What is the encryption algorithm used for the data bits in the Synchronous Burst? What is the standard which deals with this encryption?
There wont be any encryption for SYNC becoz then the Mobile have to ENCRYPT it befor getting SYNCed…
That is too hard for MS…

Thanks For the reply. But if you look at the structure of the Synchronization Burst(SB) in GSM 05.01 standard it says that the data is encrypted. The same is repeated in some other standards also. Can please clarify my doubt.Thanks in advance.
