    Hi
I have been struggling with the expiring of the timer T3270 during location updates and hence the Location updates are getting rejected. Basically T3270 is started after the MSC sends “identity request” message to UE and upon expiring of the timer MSC sends Location update rejects and it is the correct procedure as per 3GPP. However, since quite a number of handsets are not responding to the “identity request” message, the management have decided to ignore the timeout and accept the Location updates for these scenarios. However, I am not able to find any such procedure on the product documentation to do such.

My question is, if the above even possible to do (ignoring T3270 timeout and accept LUP).

N.B we are using Huawei MSOFTX3000 as the MSC.
