    Dear Pix & All Expert;
    please i need to know the perfect nomber of AGCH to use in my network.current statuse use 1 AGCH.
    but in some decument reffer to use 2AGCH.

    i nned your comment for the best value & whay??.

    Dear Atheer,

    With this parameter you define the number of blocks reserved for access grant messages from the CCCH during the 51 TDMA frame (a multiframe).

    Generally this parameter is set to 2, but final count is depend on your site requirements.

    Range of this parameter is 0 to 7.

    With non combined BCCH the value of BS_AG_BLCK is recommanded at 4.

    hi, AGCH=1 (or 0) means that you can use dynamic PCH preemption, which is probably what you are doing.
    If you put 2 or more, dynamic preemption is not possible.

    I believe the dynamic preemption is the way to go, and keep an eye on PCH congestion…
