    Dear Experts

    Why are we having 32 TS in one E1. What limits its to 32?

    If its standardization why to 32 ?

    @Sankar

    One TS uses 64 Kbps for signalling.

    Since One E1 has capability of processing only 2Mbps data for signalling, so only 32 TS are possible in one E1.

    Deepesh-Then why 2048kbps for one E1. Significance of 2048?

    Dear Sankar,

    1 Mb = 1024 Kb. In this way 2 Mb = 2048 Kb.

    Since as i said earlier 1 TS = 64Kb in same fashion for 32 TS =32*64=2048 Kb= 2 Mb.

    Best Regards:
    Deepesh
