GuestDear All,
Anybody tried this feature with ALU B11 ?
Don’t know if i’m using the wrong parameters but i don’t see any improvement on the DC.
EN_REP_DL_FACCH: “repeated DL FACCH enabled for LAPDm command frames and also for LAPDm response frames”
REP_DL_FACCH_LEGACY_SUPPORT: “Repeated DL FACCH enabled for all AMR MS”
REP_DL_FACCH_THRES_AME_FR : 12.2
REP_DL_FACCH_THRES_AMR_HR 7.4EN_REP_SACCH: Yes
RADIOLINK_REP_DL_SACCH : 10
L_RXQUAL_UL_P_AMR_RXACCH: 35 (x0.1)
L_RXQUAL_DL_P_AMR_RXACCH : 35 (x0.1)Thanks for your inputs

GuestHi,
For RDFACCH, did you try to modify T200 timer according to the recommendation?

Ian
GuestHi Styrax,
Do you know what are the recommendations for these T200 parameters T200_TF and T200_TH ?
Thanks
IanStyrax
GuestHi Ian,
Actually T200 timers, shall be automatically increased by 40 ms in the BTS when RDFACCH is dynamically activated, whatever their valuesFor RxACCH, i tested it last week :
RSACCH : decrease call drop (radio_call_drop)
RDFACCH : increase call drop (radio_call_drop) and decreas Handover success rate, without any impact on OUT_HO_efficiency_rateI can’t understand the results

GuestHi Styrax,
Strange, did you get any support from TAC, we are also going to open a ticket as we did not see any improvement/degradation with these features.
What is your BSS version ?? we are using B11 Ed1.3

GuestHI IAN,
In our NW, we’re using B11 also, i took into consideration to not activate this feature on G2 BSC.
I think that wrong values for
RADIOLINK_TIMEOUT_BS
RADIOLINK_TIMEOUT_BS_AMR
RADIOLINK_TIMEOUT
RADIOLINK_TIMEOUT_AMRare caused KPI degradation after feature activate

Ian
GuestHi Styrax,
We have :
RADIOLINK_TIMEOUT_BS (i cant find this parameter)
RADIOLINK_TIMEOUT_BS_AMR(i cant find this parameter)RADIOLINK_TIMEOUT=24
RADIOLINK_TIMEOUT_AMR=24BR
IanStyrax
GuestHi Ian,
RADIOLINK_TIMEOUT_BS = RADIOLINK_FAILURE_THRES
RADIOLINK_TIMEOUT_BS_AMR = RADIOLINK_FAILURE_THRES_AMR
BR
Ian
GuestHi Styrax,
What values have you found to make SACCH and FACCH features working ?
RADIOLINK_TIMEOUT_BS = ?
RADIOLINK_TIMEOUT_BS_AMR= ?RADIOLINK_TIMEOUT= ?
RADIOLINK_TIMEOUT_AMR= ?BR
