Our prepaid Subscriber is roaming in ATT and tries to do USSD. Our HLR recieves those request and forwards them to SCP but the processUnstructuredSS-Request, originated by MS in roaming, does NOT contain any sender information.
All it contains is ussd-DataCodingScheme and ussd-String.

Our HLR is NOKIA DX200. Are there any missing configuration on the HLR?

Who should be sending the sender information? Is it the VMSC?

Your help would be much appreciated…

I think that it should be VMSC that sending those information.

BTW, I suggest to check the trace in your GMSC (Instead of HLR)to be sure there is no missing or modification on message content between your NEs.

Can anyone tell me about PPRE (power per resource element) in asset for LTE planning?

    processUnstructuredSS-Request:

This method() is used between the MSC and the VLR and between the VLR and the HLR to relay information in order to allow unstructured supplementary service operation. It should contain the MSISDN. The VPLMN’s VLR should add the MSISDN into the MAP message.

The HLR will interact with a USSD-Gateway.
