Hi,
What MS requests to BSS and MSC when changing LAC Cell ID :
LU Request, TMSI change, etc…hi pis,
upon changing LAC, the MS intiates a Location Area update (CH REQ -> IMM ASSIGNMENT -> SDCCH)
During the LAU process, the MSC may request a TMSI reallocation (optional, but often done), and will perform all the usual checks : ciphering, authentication)
