WE ARE RUNNING HUAWEI BSC6000 IN OUR SYSTEM AND HUAWEI BTS3900A, WE ARE FACING CLOCK REFRENCE ABNORMAL IN ALL bts SITES PARENTED to BSC 1,BSC CLOCK IS SHOWING NORMAL. KINDLY LET KNOW WHAT WILL BE PROBLEM
Try one thing set the clock to another card, are you sure that the bsc is getting clock properly are there any slips in clock. in our bsc we solved this problem by taking the clock from an electrical card as we were getting some slips in the clock from the optical card
Looks like you have a potential synchonisation issue. You will need to look at your “jitter” and “wander” settings. Check that you inital
synchonisation source is stable and is cascaded from the ingress point right down to the Radio Network. If the Network is not synchronised
soon (after a period of several hours) your nodes will become despotic.
The Synchronisation source helps to “pull” or “reign in” nodes that are becoming
despotic. Compare this with a phase “locked-loop” approach. For Data Traffic slips
will cause impairment and this leads to information loss.
