Dear all,
The kpi authentication in our network always low (below 98%). I checked & found when MSC send authen req to some MS many times, MS don’t return authen response. Any idea about that problem.

hi jimmi,

it is possible that the radio connection has dropped. Try to correlate your KPI Authentication % to the SDCCH Drop % in those cells.

If the KPIs are correlated (i’m not saying equal !!) then your problem is probably linked to a problem on the radio side.

The authentication is the first stage of the SDCCH phase, as far as i remember.
