Need your help in WiMAX; hope you explain the Sub-Frame ratio; need to know what are the main difference between the 31:15 to 35:12 or 29:18,

Because it is a TDD system, there have to be a fraction for UL and DL out of the 48 sub-carriers. this fraction depends on what is best for customer based on user behaviour or the solution being provided.
it aids management of UL/DL resource resulting in the throughput based on requirement.
the ratio is the format of DL:UL
