[Free mode]

Hi pix,

what is the recomended setting in ALU BTS for sync: Is it Free Mode or PCM sync.

Also, If i need to check the sync status for all the sites,then i can fetch it from Dump or any other report??

hi,

i believe the PCM sync is the recommendation, and is available when using terrestrial E1 interfaces to the BSC. But you must ensure the BSC is broadcasting synchronization. I’m not familiar with sync’ architecture in the bss, so I don’t really know how to configure the BSC to do that.
But i can check it out in 2 weeks. You should find plenty of info in the GCD (generic customer documentation)
