Hello guys, can somebody help me. What is the difference between Tre,Trage,Trag,Ra RSL in alcatel hardwear. And how can I move the traffic from one TRX to another TRX. Please recommend some literature.

hi AAA,

you should start with the BTS Product Description.
to move traffic, you can adjust the TRX parameter called “TRX_PREF_MARK’. A high value will make the TRX more “desireable” from CS traffic point of view.
At least one TRX should be = 0, in order to activate PS service in the cell. (only TRX pref mark = 0 are able to carry PS traffic)

Thks pix. But what about the parameter: PS_PREF_BCCH_TRX . How should I use it. When can I use the first parameter and when the second . And I am not sure but I think that this parameters are connected with The HW e.g. TREs

hi,

ps pref bcch trx is useful when all trx’s are set with trx pref mark = 0.

this parameter is not linked to the HW… what do you want to do, exactly ?pix

Ok so when all TRXs are set with trx pref mark = 0 then i can use ps pref mark for one of them and i will move the ps traffic from BCCh trx if the value for this parameter is lower.
And i can use trx pref mark to move the voice traffic.
