    Dear Gents;

    I’m confused regarding the difference between the two messages
    1-BSSMAP CLEAR COMMAND CAUSE:9h (Call Control).

    2-BSSMAP CLEAR COMMAND CAUSE:0h (Radi0 interface failure)

    Actually in our network we changed the drop equation ;as OUT_INTER_BSS_HO_CLEARED is replaced by OUT_INTER_BSS_HO_FAIL

    which both differs by the MSC Clear Cause.

    If anyone have idea regarding this or a ladder diagram representing the difference .

    Thanks

    I think for Radio interface failure, some procedure on radio (e.g. ciphering) failed causing release of the connection.

    If an MSC receive a DTAP message releasing the connection or circuit release form the other MSC while waiting for a response to a BSSMAP request sent to RAN, the core will release the connection with reason “Call Control”
