Waveguide is typically manufactured using OFC (Oxygen Free copper) and provides a very low loss method of transporting EM waves between the transmitter and/or receiver interface and antenna.
Waveguides come in different sizes, each size supporting a specific frequency band. For example WR75 supports operation from 10-15Ghz.
