Hi webmaster,

Is it mandatory to use verification codes each time we write a msg ?
Couldn’t we get a kind of cookie for the first time, and then be able to write messages for the next hours ?

Just wondering.. It’s kind of tedious to copy the code every time (but acceptable)

It’s annoying, but became necessary to introduce this a few weeks ago when our fora were attacked with spam messages, which were being posted once every few minutes. The fora are now much cleaner.

Cookie tracking doesn’t stop spam, because the robots that send the messages can also hold and send cookies. We also considered mandatory registration, but that doesn’t seem to stop the bad guys either.

ok, i prefer the verification code than the registration.
Anyway, it’s not a big deal, and if it’s making your life better, then we have no reason to complain !
