Hello dear all
Does anybody know how we calculate available TCH and HTCH? For example in a sector with 2 TRX we have these channels:
MAINBCCH
SDCCH
TCHSD
TCHFULL
TCHFULL
TCHFULL
TCHFULL
TCHFULL
TCHFULL
TCHFULL
TCHFULL
TCHFULL
TCHFULL
TCHFULL
TCHF_HLF
TCHF_HLF
Then in KPI parameter we have: AVAL TCH=12 , AVAL HTCH=4 , how is it calculated?
(for TCHSD channel the SDCCHCONGTH=70 and the system is Siemens)
I really appreciate if you could help me.
Seems it is quite simple, while calculating TCh, it takes account of TCHSD also, as it is a TCH by default. And two HTCH timeslots means 4 channels. Which counter you are using for getting the available TCH??
Hi shibu
Thanks for your reply, but it seems it isn’t this much simple, for example in another site we have this config for 2 TRX:
MAINBCCH
SDCCH
TCHSD
TCHFULL
TCHFULL
TCHFULL
TCHFULL
TCHFULL
SDCCH
TCHFULL
TCHFULL
TCHFULL
TCHFULL
TCHFULL
TCHFULL
TCHFULL
TCHF_HLF
TCHF_HLF
TCHF_HLF
TCHF_HLF
TCHF_HLF
TCHF_HLF
TCHF_HLF
TCHF_HLF
TCHF_HLF
TCHF_HLF
TCHF_HLF
TCHF_HLF
TCHF_HLF
TCHF_HLF
TCHF_HLF
TCHF_HLF
(SDCCHCONGTH:70)
then we have:AVAL TCH=27 and AVAL HTCH=32
the calculation of AVAL HTCH is clear but how was AVAL TCH calculated?
(in KPI measurement files we have separate columns for AVAL HTCH and AVAL TCH which I referred to)
