Dear All,
Having Hopping SFH 1*1, what is the impact of having contiguous HSN between 2 sites;
For instance:
Site1 (all 3 sectors) HSN=15
Site2 (all 3 sectors) HSN=16
If we set up other HSN for Site2, does it make a difference ?
I would have said “No” as sites are not synchronised , does anybody have an idea on this ?
I saw some theorical studies stating of different results with different HSN ?
Thanks
Ian

Ian,
HSN generates random sequences, and BTS neighbours are not sync, so you’re right : there is no influence.
I’ve never seen any study about this though.

Hi Pix,
Do you have good results is ALU B10 using SFH 1*1 ?

hi ian,
yes, sure… it’s not dependent on the vendor though ! it should work well with alu, e///, nsn, huawei, etc.
if your antenna design is good, and if your radio load is not too high, then sfh 1×1 can give results as good as bbh.
