It has been seen that reselection from 3G to 2G network does not happen for Ericsson mobile which make it difficult to capture drive test in TEMS

Any thoughts on why this happens. It works fine for all other makes…

    Hi Sam,

    Hi Sam,

Sorry, I have no info about this.. there is no “phone specific” parameters, so either the E/// phones are faulty (surprising !) or all phones do actually have this problem in your network… then it might be because parameters of your nw are misconfigured.

Are you sure other phones work well ?

Side by side with E/// ?

    cheers

Sam what is your network equipment are you using? Ericsson handsets are not having trouble in other people networks. Have you looked at the SIMs you are using (if any) with E/// handsets?

    Hi,

You can check sRATSearch, qOffset & qHyst. Revise as well the re-selection mechanism.

    Good Luck

But why on earth is Ericsson Phones alone affected if parameters are an issue

ParaHO… All sims have been interchangeably used
