    Dear Pix,

    In my network of around 1400 sites(1800band)the uplink quality is very bad around 60% cell having ulink quality >95%(DL 80% cells>95%) .There are no definate cells. Every day cells with bad uplink quality are coming different.pls suggest what i need to do…

    Hello Manoj,

    It could be :

    1) Frequency planning issue , maybe you are using hopping & your HSN & MAIO are not well defined, that causing interference & affecting cells.

    2) Parameters issues, depending on your vendor try to check & correct parameters that define UL & DL quality handovers.

    Regards.

    Thanx ATTO for your reply,
    @1.Yes we are using hopping & HSN,MAIO are well defined.
    @2.also already check & cross verified the parameter setting

    As earlier I said that worst cells are not same everyday different cells are coming.

    Hello Manoj,

    Worst cells cannot be the same everyday because traffic vary so handover too.

    I insist on the fact that U need to check deeply your frequency planning .

    Others check can be done on:

    1) The enabling of MS/BS power control

    2) Other handover causes are well defined : better cell , handover on rxlev, etc..

    3) Overshooting cells;

    4) Cells suffering from Path balance, TMA issues, rural coverage etc..

    Regards.

    Dear Manoj,
    If network parameters are okay, i suggest you to re evaluate your physical optimization, check overshooting and neighbor plan accordingly.

    @Saurabh:we are using 4X3 frequency planning(12BCCH+10MAL)
