How many channels for one erlang

    Anyone can tell how many channels will be required to handle one erlang traffic in metro. On what other factors does it depend.

    It depends only on the GOS (grade of service, or blocking probability).

    Your question is missing GOS parameter, so I assume that GOS = 1% = 0.01. Use ErlangB table or ErlangB calculator software, you will have the number of channels is 5.

    For calculate Erlang with any GOS you can get this file and use it.;)
