    Hi,

In My Ntwork 50% of cells have RxQuality DL less than 96%.

We are using 1×1 aswell as in some city adhoc plan, with 12 BCCH & 18 TCH, plan done by AFP so no mismatches.

Suggest how to improve DL RxQuality..

Rx Quality is bad in BCCH TRX in 60% cases & 40% cases it is equally bad in BCCH as well as TCH TRX..

    akshi,

    you obviously have some interference.
please search for “radio load” in this forum.

radio load in 1×1 should be less than 12%. How much is it in your network ?

    one suggestion,

select cell, one of the worst quality on BCCH trx, and check the BCCH frequency plan around, than change if necessary, after 2 days check the performance again,(cssr and hsr mainly)

    Akshi,
if you have a good frequency planning tool available then the obvious choice is to shift to fixed frequency / BBH and it would certainly help. and I would assume your network is contained else its criminal to use 1×1 in an un-contained network, if your inter-site distance is less and your tilts are 0 to 3 with high heights like 45m above then probably you need to contain the cells as well and again a good planning tool can be of great help in this phase else check your RMS/CTP /TRX data..which vendor are you using?
