undefined BCCH-BSIC

    dears

    Can i have your help of understanding that we did frequency scan and found from scan file some BCCH and BSIC are decoded but not configured in system what could be the reason .

    hi,

    are those only few measurements, or do you see a lot of them ?

    if a few : probably random noise decoding

    if a lot : try to find the source, either your BTS is miconfigured (??) or it is the BTS of another operator (your country or another country) using your BCCH and your BSIC as well… Last possibility, external equipment, such as army radars or alarm devices, which generate noise that sounds like a burst “SCH” once in a while.
